There are six core requirements to an EB2-NIW petition. Requirements are that you comply with minimum 3 of these 6.
It is not based on flight hours, but years.
*We have had candidates with degrees been able to be approved with as little as five years.
This is a vague requirement, but comparing your pay to the industry standard in the market you work is a good start. We have however seen this as a difficult point to prove.
Union Memberships or other pilot associations. This requirement is easy to fill.
I have a list of associations you can join once we get going.
If you do have a degree you feel you can tie up to Aviation, it is benefitial. Some countries like Spain and France issue a document stating their EASA ATPL is equivalent to a Bachelor Degree, check if your country do.
This is the easiest to argue for pilots as we all have ATPL licenses to do our job. An FAA License is not required, but an advantage. I do have a trusted partner for training in the USA if you need to obtain a US FAA ATPL. Ask me for info.
This is the most crucial part of the petition. Obtaining reference letters from industry leaders, proving you have special abilities. It does not need to be from pilots who have flown with you. But people that know you or your abilities.
This is to establish "proof" of your abilities.
Do you need to convert your license to US ATPL? Or upgrade your CPL. I work together with a super modern all service training center in Ft. Lauderdale. Prices and availability change, but ask me if you need more information.
